Unleash the potential of microcontrollers and physical computing
What tools will we use
If you're interested in interacting with the physical world through code, this is the workshop for you! Arduino boards are fantastic for beginners and experienced makers alike. Using a simplified version of C++ programming language you can turn motors, light up LEDS, read sensors and even automate your entire house.
Participants get hands on and explore using a tonne of different senors and outputs all controlled by the arduino board. Drive motors, flash LEDS, detect motion, measure distance using sonar, read brain waves, play music and much more.
Equipment and Software
LimboTech has a set of 10 arduino kits suitable for groups up to 20 participants.
The Arduino software can be downloaded for free from the official website.
